The Department of Fair Trading are a government organisation that provide consumers with information on building services. One of the important features of the DOFT is there licence check facility.
This facility allows you to complete a licence check online. They recommend that consumers complete a licence check before entering into a contract with a builder to ensure that you only deal with a licensed builder.
